WHAT WE DO
Awamoa Bins & Skips offers curbside waste collection and disposal services for general waste, green waste and recycling as well as skip hire for those bigger jobs.
We only charge for the empties you receive, that is it, no other hidden costs or contracts to tie you in.
COLLECTION OPTIONS
Not all of our customers have the same collection needs, that's why Awamoa Bins likes to offer its customers a choice of collection frequencies to suit your needs.
You can choose a scheduled service such as weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
Our 'if out empty' option is hassle free. This does as it name indicates, if your bin is out on the curbside, it will get emptied, if it is not out – no empty and no charge - this is great for our customers with changeable or unpredictable collection needs.
For more ad-hoc collections you can choose an 'on call' service whereby we only empty your bin when you call and ask us to, perfect for customers with less frequent collections needs or if our drivers need to access your property.

Our services are detailed below. Our team will deliver our bins to your door, free-of-charge. No hire rates, no annual contract.

GENERAL WASTE
Large Wheelie (240 litre) or Small Wheelie (120 litre)
For all types of household waste, except hot ash.
Collection frequency to suit the individual.
Some rural areas are visited fortnightly only.
Please ensure you call us before 5pm the day prior to request your collection.
SKIPS
Our skip sizes range from 1.5 m³ to 5 m³
All waste types: General, Builders, Green, Hardfill.
Standard hire term is 10 days. Longer hire terms can be arranged - conditions may apply.
Pricing is dependent on waste type. Travel charges may apply to certain locations.
RECYCLING
Large recycle (240 litre) or Small recycle (120 litre)
For all clean recyclables except glass and polystyrene.
Accepted: tins, cans, plastics, newspapers, magazines, cardboard, paper.
Our recycle service is on an on-call basis only in Oamaru, Weston, Kakanui, Maheno,
Recycling is collected on a Wednesday in Oamaru and Weston.
Last Friday of the month in Kakanui and Maheno..

GREEN WASTE
We provide wool packs for your garden waste.
Our green waste service is on an on-call basis only in the Oamaru and Weston areas.
Green waste is collected on a Tuesday and Thursday.
Please ensure you call us before 5pm the day prior to request your collection.
COMMERCIAL WASTE
For our business customers we offer larger bins for general waste, 1100 Litre and 660 Litre.
We also offer a range of bin sizes and collection options for GLASS, PLASTIC, CARDBOARD.
Lids can be locked if required.
